Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is the most convenient airport for South Lake Tahoe and is approximately a one-hour drive from Edgewood Tahoe.

If your schedule allows, we recommend arriving by Friday so you can get settled and join us for the Welcome Party that evening!

We have room blocks available at Edgewood Tahoe and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. We’ve also included a few additional hotel recommendations on our website for guests who would like other options.

Make a weekend of it! There is so much to do around Lake Tahoe, from hiking and golfing to boating, paddleboarding, taking a lake cruise, or riding the Heavenly Gondola. We’ve included some of our favorite activities, restaurants, and local recommendations on the website.

July in Lake Tahoe typically brings warm, sunny days and cooler evenings. Because of the elevation, temperatures can change quickly once the sun goes down, so layers are always a good idea.

We’d love to see everyone dressed in formal attire! Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length or elevated midi dresses, and gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits, dress pants with a jacket, or other formal attire. Please keep in mind that portions of the celebration will take place outdoors, so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly.

The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to take place outdoors overlooking Lake Tahoe, with the reception to follow indoors. Tahoe evenings can be cool, even in the summer, so we recommend bringing a light layer for later in the evening.

Please plan to arrive approximately 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so you have plenty of time to find your seat and enjoy the view before we say “I do.”

Yes! Shuttle transportation will be provided for guests staying at Caesars Republic or hotels nearby to and from the wedding at Edgewood Tahoe. Additional transportation details and exact departure times will be shared closer to the wedding.

South Lake Tahoe sits at approximately 6,200 feet above sea level. If you’re traveling from a lower elevation, we recommend drinking plenty of water, taking it easy when you first arrive, and keeping in mind that alcohol may affect you a little differently at altitude.
